Can I ship my cupcakes?

Yes, you can!  We offer shipping and it typically takes 5-7 business days.  Since everything is made to order, it takes two business days for your items to be prepared and then we will ship it to your location.  We can ONLY ship our cupcake jars

Will I get a buzz from your cupcakes?

Only if you eat a couple dozen by yourself! The sugar high would set in before the buzz 🙂

Should I give the infused cupcakes to my kids?

No, the cupcakes do have alcohol in them.   We have some other amazing virgin flavors that you can add to your order for your kiddosDefinitely check out the Strawberry Lemonade!

What is the minimum number of cupcakes I can order?

The minimum number of cupcakes we sell is 24 minis (2 dozen) or a set of 6 jars.  We understand that you may need less, but we promise we have never seen our cupcakes go to waste.  We sell in those quantities because all of our cupcakes are made to order and we don’t keep them in stock.  Which means to you, your cupcakes will always be fresh never frozen!

Can I have multiple flavors in one box?

You can choose four flavors per box, for most of our box options.  For example, if you order 24 shots, you will get 4 flavors or 48 you can choose 8.  We also have the option of the Bartender’s Mix, which is an offering of four of our most popular flavors available in shots; 24 minis.  The Bartender’s Mix is the Bartender’s Choice (meaning you get what you get and don’t have a fit as my mom would say).  We will make sure you have a great assortment!

Where are you located?

We DO NOT have a drop-in location.  We work out of a commercial kitchen near Legacy in Plano (in the wee hours of the morning) and our home office is on the border of Little Elm/Prosper.  We offer pick up at our home office.

How soon ahead should I order?

Please order a minimum of 72 hours in advance, for a large order we need a minimum of one week. With that said, the sooner the better. Our dates for large events and during the holidays fill up quickly.

I need my order now! What if I need a Rush Order?

We would love to help and will try everything within our means too.  With that said, we charge a little extra to fit you into the “cupcake rotation.”  Any order that requires 48 hours or less will be charged a convenience fee of an additional 25% of the total of the order before taxes.

How is delivery calculated?

We deliver to you, extending North to Prosper, South to Dallas, East to Garland and West to Coppell.  We service a 30-mile radius from Little Elm, zip code 76227.  Delivery starts at $15 and goes up from there.  If you are outside of the radius please give us a call and we can calculate specific costs.

Is there a deposit for a large order? What kind of order requires a deposit?

There is a deposit for a large order (which is anything above $300), we require a deposit of 1/3 the total order to reserve the day and the other 2/3’s are due 3 business days before the event.

Do you sell gluten free or vegan cupcakes?

Not yet…but we will soon!

Do you offer flavors that don’t have alcohol in them?

We sure do!  We have Strawberry Lemonade (which is the owner’s favorite), Root Beer Float and Hot Chocolate

How can I get my cupcakes?

We offer delivery in the Dallas area, Pick-up and National Shipping.

What is the shelf life of the cupcake jars?

Our cupcake jars last from 7-10 days. Refrigeration does not extend the shelf life.   All jars can be frozen for up to 6 months. If you do freeze them, please allow them to thaw before serving.

Do the jars require refrigeration?

Our cupcake cake jars do not need to be refrigerated, however, they should kept in a cool, dry place.

Can I customize the jars for an event/corporate order?

You sure can!  We can put your company logo, something funny or anything else your heart desires on our jars.  Contact inquire@thelushdessertbar.com for more information and pricing.

What’s the cancellation policy?

The deposits for large orders are non-refundable.  If you cancel your large order at least one week before the event, we will refund any monies that have been paid outside of the deposit.  For smaller orders, anything less than $300 you can cancel for a full refund 72 hours before the scheduled pick up or delivery.

Would Lush Dessert Bar be willing to donate to our charity event?

Do you have nutritional information on your cupcakes and frostings?

We like to say that anything baked in our kitchen has the calories baked right out of it! Just kidding … I know, I know, they do contain calories. We bake from scratch and use fresh, real ingredients like milk, butter, eggs and sugar. They are not low-calorie. We don’t have nutritional info on our lovely sweet treats yet, but if you’re super concerned about calories, we always like to recommend our cupcake shots (indulgence in moderation).  Shots are just two to three bites and are a nice way to enjoy a treat without going overboard on your healthy eating plan.
